My name is Joseph but you should call me Joe.

Raised in Wenatchee WA. Spent a couple years in Barcelona Spain.  I graduated from the University of Utah studying Accounting and Spanish. We moved to Madison, WI and lived there for many years while raising our 4 children (3 boys & a girl in that order). Then, I got smart and moved back to Salt Lake City, Utah and I’m not ever leaving again. I’m married to a wonderful Peruvian woman who also is an accountant.

 

Taxes are now second nature to me, as I’ve gotten over twenty years of experience working at Local Tax Firms as well as providing accounting and business development services. 

 

My children know not to expect to see me from January to 4/15 , but we enjoy each other’s company the rest of the year. When I’m not expertly scrutinizing Tax Forms, I am catching up on Star Wars shows and making curry.

- Directly involved with over 50 startup businesses, in entity selection, formations, and operations.

- In 9 months oversaw 12 new build outs and operations of Hair Salons increasing locations to 72. 

- $ 24,000,000 in increased sales by executing business plans, strategies and forecasting.

- $ 13,000,000 of funding from banks and investors due to prepared financial statements and projections. 

- $ 12,000,000 increased owner's equity and cash flow produced during operations of multiple companies.
